Why we exist

Many people over 60 tell us they sometimes feel they just want a friendly presence at home. It's important to feel safe, especially at night. Families often want extra reassurance that there's a trusted friend on hand in a parent's home, for the little things that seem tricky sometimes when you reach a certain age - using technology, fetching a prescription from the pharmacy, sharing a nice meal, going for a walk, or simply having a chat over a cup of coffee.

At the same time, many young people from New Zealand and Australia dream of travelling, studying and working in the UK, but find making the rent almost impossible. It's a constant shift from place to place via risky social media ads and it's really expensive and stressful to keep moving.

Together we have 60+ years combined experience in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Conflict Resolution, Pastoral Care, General Management and Not-for Profit Leadership.
